For years, the Freiburg Marathon has been a fixed date in the calendar for many running enthusiastic employees of Waldorf Technik in Engen. Since the marathon has been canceled for the second time in a row this year, the company quickly launched an alternative: The Waldorf Technik charity run was born. All participants ran individually in various locations but on the same day and therefore together for a particularly good cause - namely for the charity organization “Radio 7 Drachenkinder”. The charity takes care of sick, traumatized and handicapped children and young people from the Radio 7 broadcast area, who often had to endure a lot of suffering. In addition to children and their families, schools and development associations are also supported.
Many employees participated with great enthusiasm and across national borders and raised a donation of 750 euros. Managing Director Armin Auer is delighted with this great result: “The Drachenkinder is a great campaign that we find absolutely worth supporting. We are happy to be able to make a contribution with our charity run. I would like to thank all of the employees who participated, as we were only able to achieve such a great result together."
